Jogot is végzett. Orsován az Állami Polgári Fiú és Leányiskola igazgatója volt, majd a kultuszminisztériumban dolgozott. 1920-tól 1931 végéig - nyugalomba vonulásáig - a balatonarácsi Erzsébet Szeretetház utolsó igazgatója volt. 1939 szeptemberében, Cséplő Ernõ halála után a Balatoni Szövetség igazgatójának választották. 1941-től 1944 novemberéig, megszűnéséig ő szerkesztette a szövetség folyóiratát, a Balatont. Gáspárdy Aladár mint a Balatoni Gyümölcstermesztők Egyesületének ügyvezetõ alelnöke sokat fáradozott a gyümölcsfák termesztése, nemesítése, árusítása érdekében, sok cikket írt folyóiratokban és napilapokban. Szerkesztette az egyesület lapját, a Balatoni Egyesületi Értesítőt, amelyet<br /> Balatonfüreden nyomtak. Megjelent több természetrajzi tankönyve is. Ő írta és állította össze a Gróf Széchenyi István jubileumi ünnepségek Balatonfüreden című kiadványt. (1941).</div>
